Welding protection curtain 1100.HT
The 1100.HT welding curtain is made from heavy glass fabric with a double-sided calcium silicate HT finish, providing high temperature resistance up to 1100 °C. The HT finish on both sides protects the material from direct temperature exposure, increases resistance to high temperatures and thermal wear, and enhances the material's mechanical strength. The 1100.HT welding curtains are ideal for applications with extremely high thermal requirements and high mechanical stresses.
Our welding curtains are custom-designed and configurable in numerous variations to meet specific requirements effectively.

Technical Characteristics
- The 1100.HT welding curtains made from glass fabric withstand temperatures up to 1100 °C, making them ideal for use in extremely hot environments. The double-sided calcium silicate HT finish enhances thermal resistance and mechanical strength.
- Provides excellent protection against sparks and hot welding spatter.
- Welding curtains from Fingerhuth are made from durable glass fabric, ensuring long service life and stability, even under intense mechanical stress.
- Welding curtains made from glass fabric are non-flammable, providing high safety even in fire-prone areas.
- Welding curtains made from glass fabric are resistant to many chemicals, making them suitable for demanding environments such as refineries and chemical plants.
- Welding curtains from Fingerhuth can be custom-made in various sizes and shapes, ensuring maximum flexibility in their application.
Application Examples
- Welding Stations in Manufacturing and Assembly Halls: Fingerhuth welding curtains are used to clearly separate welding stations and to protect employees and machinery from sparks, arc radiation, and hot splashes.
- Protection in the Automotive Industry: In automotive production, where robots and employees weld and assemble in parallel, Fingerhuth welding curtains serve as barriers between work areas. They protect adjacent production lines and improve workplace safety in factory halls.
- Machine Protection in Production Facilities: Along production lines or in welding cells exposed to high thermal loads, welding curtains can be used to protect sensitive machinery and electronics from sparks and heat radiation.
- Welding Areas in Metal Processing and Heavy Industry: In heavy industry, particularly in metal processing and plant construction, Fingerhuth welding curtains are used to section off large welding areas and minimize the spread of sparks and heat to adjacent areas.
- Storage Areas in Production and Logistics Halls: In production facilities and logistics centers where welding or metalworking is regularly performed, welding curtains can be installed to protect nearby storage areas and reduce the risk of heat damage to materials or products.
