Material:

Glass Fabric

Coating:

Silicone / FR-Silicone

Application temperature:

-50 °C up to 260 °C

Glass fabric with silicone coating has become an industrial standard product and is available in many variations with diverse properties. These properties include good UV stability, weather resistance, cut resistance, water resistance, cryogenic capability (down to -50°C), flame resistance, antistatic properties, as well as resistance to oil penetration and various chemicals and alkalis. These features offer many advantages for thermal insulation systems and fabric compensators. Additional additives can be incorporated into the silicone compound to enhance the polymer with improved properties, such as antistatic or conductive surface finishes, acidic or alkaline indicator pigments, and adjustments for thermal expansion.
